A data and reporting assistant that answers from your own numbers

Ask a question in plain language and get an answer from your spreadsheets, databases, or dashboards, with the query shown. The assistant summarizes trends, produces charts, and flags exceptions by rules you define.

The audit checks the real workflow and tool access before we recommend a build. These are the conditions that usually make the first scope practical.

  1. The same weekly or monthly report is assembled by hand
  2. People ask one colleague for numbers because only they know the spreadsheet
  3. Problems in the data are noticed late, after someone happens to look
  4. Charts are rebuilt for every meeting from the same source

One path from the original input to a recorded outcome, with the exception route designed at the same time.

  1. 01

    Connect the source

Give read access to one agreed data source and confirm which tables, sheets, or views are in scope.

  2. 02

    Answer questions

Turn a plain-language question into a query, run it, and return the figure with the query it used.

  3. 03

    Summarize and chart

Produce the recurring summary and charts on a schedule or on request.

  4. 04

    Watch for exceptions

Check the agreed thresholds and send an alert to the right person when a value falls outside them.

Included in the handoff

  • A read connection to one data source with the in-scope tables or sheets documented
  • Question answering that shows the query behind each figure
  • One recurring report with summary and charts, delivered where your team reads it
  • Exception rules, alert routing, and an operating guide for the data owner

How your team stays in control

  • Access is read-only unless a specific write is agreed in scope.
  • Every figure shows the query or source it came from.
  • Alerts go only to the people and channels agreed in scope, by rules written down first.
  • When the data cannot answer a question, the assistant says so.

The first call is used to verify the workflow, source material, integrations, approval points, and practical first scope.

Which data sources can it read?

A first scope uses one source such as a spreadsheet, a SQL database, an accounting export, or a reporting tool with an API. We confirm the access path and the tables in scope during the audit.

Can it change our data?

By default it only reads. If a workflow needs a write, such as marking a record as reviewed, that action is defined, limited, and tested separately.

How do we check an answer?

Every answer carries the query it ran, so a figure can be compared with the source. Discovery sets a test set of known questions, and the assistant is checked against them before launch.

What counts as an exception?

Thresholds you define, such as a daily total outside its usual range, a missing import, or a value that fails a rule. Alerts follow those written rules and go to a named owner.
